Off-the-shelf solutions do not always meet the requirements of connected products. Abinsula partnered with an Italian company operating thousands of home and building automation systems to design and develop a fully customized hardware and software platform. Acting as a single engineering partner, Abinsula supported the entire product development journey, transforming functional requirements into a market-ready prototype.
The project covered every stage of the development process, from requirements analysis and hardware prototyping to the design of a custom carrier board and the coordination of suppliers and manufacturing partners. Abinsula also developed tailored validation procedures to ensure system quality and reliability before production. The engineering process culminated in the delivery of the first one thousand devices for beta testing, providing the foundation for the customer's next-generation home automation platform.
